In 2024 Colorado voters voted to make abortion a constitutional right in Colorado. This means that pro-life groups can not work to pass heart beat bills, abortion clinics have no government oversight, we can not limit abortion pills by mail. It also means that all of us fund abortion through our taxes and our insurance premiums. 

Lori Engel is working with a group, Colorado Life Initiative, to repeal the 79th amendment and remove abortion from our state constitution. In order to get an amendment change on the ballot in November we need 125,000 signatures and 2% of each senate district by August 3rd.
