Sarah Day is looking for private tutoring students for the summer:
All listed terms are negotiable.
For those interested, please contact Sarah at email@example.com or 303 847 8066.
Sarah is an alumni of Homeschool Etc. and is currently in her junior year obtaining her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Elementary Education at Colorado Christian University in Lakewood. After returning to HSE to volunteer in the classrooms for two years, she is now teaching art at Lighthouse Christian Academy, a homeschool co-op. She is considering getting a Masters in Elementary Education Licensure and she plans to use both teaching (tutoring in specific) and business on the mission field.
There are a couple Christian young men I know (Evan and Kawika) who are attempting to educate other young people to make a difference in our local governments. They’ve reached out to me, because of my involvement, plus they know homeschoolers tend to be more active in local government as well. I’m connecting with you, in case your kids (adults/parents are welcome as well!) are interested in attending one of their seminars. As Evan stated: it’s a civic engagement program for youth, and we’re looking for more families to participate in it. (Please spread the word!)
Here is their website: https://www.yfi1776.com/
And some information from that website about them:
Youth Federalist Initiative seeks to provide learning opportunities and resources to provide political activist training to advance the leaders of America’s future.
Educating Young People
Developing youth in their knowledge, regardless of political affiliations, and show them how to engage in the civil process responsibly.
Please let me know if you’re interested or have any questions, or contact Evan or Kawika yourself (contact info on their website I believe, or I can connect you as well).

Dr. Ed Holroyd (our Physical Geology professor) has forwarded an opportunity to join a creationist dinosaur dig in Wyoming this summer. You can find information here: https://dinosaur.swau.edu/project/.
Livestock fed a custom mix of natural, unprocessed, non-GMO grain, some organic, and horse quality grass hay. No fish meal, animal fat, soy, hormones, moldy hay or antibiotics (unless necessary to save a life). Our care practices are as natural and animal honoring as possible. Available by private treaty sale. Currently taking deposits and building a wait list. It is ok to go in on the purchase with others but we need one point of contact. We have guaranteed processing dates set for August, 2021 at Hudson and Arapahoe. Animals will be delivered for you. Buyer responsible for processor fees and pick-up. Processor will call you for your custom cut preferences (how thick you want your steaks, do you want seasoned sausage, etc.). Prices on the meat to be set later in the year. Black Angus beef will be sold by the quarter and estimated to finish in the 1400-1550 pound range. A quarter of packaged beef can weigh 100-130 pounds depending on finished weight of the animal and will take up about 10 cubic feet of freezer space. If you want organs, oxtail, hide, dog or soup bones, be sure to mention. Organs, tail and hide are first come first serve. Beef deposit is $200 per quarter. Hogs sold by the half. Hog deposit $100 per half. Goats will be sold whole, $50 deposit each. Feed prices, gas prices and grocery store meat prices are increasing. Freezers are on backorder. If thinking of buying a quarter or side of beef, we recommend shopping for a freezer earlier rather than later! We have a contacts for conventionally raised animals as well as lamb if you need a referral. Email Riverstoneranchllc@protonmail.com or call (no text) 303-816-1058 for more info. These are Faith and Noah’s 4-H projects. Thanks so much!
