Class frequently asked questions

Our credit and dual credit classes are offered as an added benefit to our member families.  Thus, in order to enroll a student in our credit classes the student must be enrolled in the core portion of the program.  

All fees are PER SEMESTER:

Insurance - $25 per family, due at the start of the semester.

Registration - $25 per student, NON REFUNDABLE, due upon acceptance.

Tuition - $150 for the first student, $140 for your second student, $130 for your third student, and $125 for all additional students. Due at the start of the semester.

Because we take a unit study approach to learning (centered around a historical time frame), all enrolled students attend all of the core morning classes - you cannot choose to attend some core classes but not others.  

The fall semester usually starts the last week of August and finishes the week before Thanksgiving.  The spring semester starts mid-January and ends in early April.  

We dress up in costumes, use props, do experiments, and do our best to have really fun hands-on activities as our teaching tools.  Lectures are minimal but in our older classes they are sometimes necessary.  If we lecture we try to have a time of group activity/discussion.

Our core morning classes are designed as enrichment and do not require any homework. 

We do offer credit classes for our junior and senior high students and those classes do require homework.  See "Our Classes" on the homepage for more information.
